Richard and Karen’s bathroom was worn and dated, featuring terrazzo tile flooring, a 4′ x 4′ alcove shower, and a tile countertop complete with a rose-colored sink—They were ready to update. Their style was driven in large part by their laundry room, which we had rebuilt the previous year, with the checkerboard flooring being a main feature of their new bathroom.
The curbless shower provides ease of use, while the frameless glass takes the shower to the next level. The champagne bronze hardware pairs well with the overall simplicity of the design, yet adds a fitting touch of color to the space. The full-height custom cabinets mirror what they had before, providing just the right mix of newness and familiarity and creating a truly peaceful setting to prepare for the hecticness of each day.
